Connecting to Scan Tool
95 Blazer, 4.3 4x4 LS
Trying to fix ABS light condition.
It has OBDII connector but my cheap scanner won’t talk to it. Friend’s better scanner also won’t. Advance Auto’s scanner talked to it, but only generic codes, won’t talk to ABS. What do I need to pull ABS codes?

Scan Xl Pro is supposed to do ABS, but no experience with 1995. Its a bastard year for OBD2. Probably Tech 2 and dealer is best choice in your case.
FWIW, Car Gauge Pro should read/clear ABS codes on 1998-2004 Blazer using scan all faults/clear all faults. My Blazer is a 2001. I have read/cleared BCM codes on my 2004 Avalanche this way. Never have had an ABS code, so no experience with them. Car Gauge Pro has problems reported with connecting to 1996-1997 except in generic OBD2 mode so ABS is pretty doubtful on those years. 1995 is completely unknown.
