Hi, I have just bought an overhead console unit from a Bravada (the one with extra features, fuel computer etc) to upgrade the standard compass/temperature unit in my Blazer. The guy who sold it to me didn't have the 9 pin connector that went with it (he sold the entire vehicle harness seperately).
So - is there anyone in the USA who could source me one from a suitably equipped Bravada out of a junkyard? It needs to be the 9 pin connector, not the 6 pin that is fitted to my unit. I need it with a couple inches of wire on it if possible so I can join my existing harness. I do know how to do the upgrade.
Bravada's were never sold here in the UK, only the Blazers so GM dealers here are being most unhelpful about it.
I would of course send whatever the unit costs + postage + a little extra for helping me out.
Either that or I have a spare set of UK style rear lenses that I know some of you USA guys like - could always do a deal that way?
Any help would be appreciated.

 

I will look next time im at the yard,which might be today since ive got a few core parts to return. any idea on which years etc? they have a 01 and a 02 down there right now. Not sure of what is left.

 

I can try and get to the yard next week hopefully. I should have a bit of spare time one day I hope I will look then.

 

What do the UK style rear lenses look like, out of curiosity?
