Default Can you identify this connector and where it belongs!

I seem to have an extra one after a intake gasket replacement. It is a 97 blazer 4.3. I swapped a 99 complete intake due to a lower intake cracked by someone messing with the pipe. I have compared the two and they seem to be the same. It is the black round two pin connector in the picture. The bracket you see in the background is an extra, both manifolds had the same bracket. Also in the harness it is in the same run that goes to the compressor. So it goes somewhere in that area.

I dont have any error messages, the only problem I am experiencing is the clutch on the compressor is not pulling in until after you drive it a while. A total pain in Texas. But the clutch eventually pulls in and the ac works fine. Pressure is right so that is not causing it.

I could really use a guru right now. The engine is running like a champ and I am ready to leave this task behind me, as soon as I locate this one connector!

Thanks!

Yup that one goes to the back of your AC compressor kind of hard to see but the part that locks in will go in facing up.

Thanks, sorry for the delay but the message notification doesnt seem to be working. I took the compressor back off and looked at it real hard and there doesnt seem to be a connector only a lock ring with a plate on it. So I am assuming that it is a replacement compressor without the switch. After you take the intake tube off and it and run the engine making the service engine soon lite come on it takes about 15 minutes of driving to get the ac clutch to pull in like it is supposed to. After it pulls in once or twice it works like it is supposed to. I dont know what control module is keeping the clutch from engaging but it eventually works. Thanks for the replies!

There always should be a high pressure switch on the back of the compressor...
