Default A couple of minor annoyances I noticed today

1) The spring in the door hinge that pushes the detent cam against the roller (I don't know if that's the right name, but you know what I'm talking about, I think) is missing on both front doors. Is this something I can get separately, or will I need to buy and replace the entire hinge assemblies?

2) I can take the key out of the ignition in any position. The ignition switch won't turn out of the LOCK position without the key, though. Am I going to have to rekey the whole truck? (Then again, it's had 8 owners, so that may not be a bad idea in any event.)

Default Hinge roller springs

Picked up a 2002 Blazer ZR2 for the kids to drive at college ... driver's door was sagging and the spring was missing from the detent cam mechanism. Advance Auto carries exact replacement springs for ~$6.00 and pins/bushings for $4.00. Sag was corrected with a new pin/bushing in the bottom only. I now know why the spring was missing .. previous owner removed it to stop the nasty squeak from the cam grinding on the frozen roller. I'm daily applying pB_blaster to the roller and it's moving just slightly now. Hoping I don't have to do anything more than lube it. Any suggestions?
