Default couple of problems

#1 sometimes when im sitting in drive or reverse, and idle, like sitting with my break on, i hear/fell this loud rattling(sounds kind of like a beath snapping agasint something repeadilty) i think it might be the abs, it only come on when im sitting still and the truck is in drive and i have the breaks on, its reall loud and starting to drive me nuts

#2 for somereason, when my truck goes from 1st to 2nd, it almost pasues for a few secons once it shifts out of first and then jerks into second, and sometimes it feels like i lost alot of power

it almost sounds like this common proiblem with the sunshell in the tranny....take it to a tranny shop and let them do the test on it...with the computer they use..

Does The tranny only shift from 1st to 2nd delayed when the truck is cold? or is it consistantly shiftingdelayedwhen it's warm too? I find it's really common for the blazer/jimmy to shift like that when it's cold! My truck is the same way when it's cold...feeling like has not alot of power after shiftinginto second. If not im sure you have checked the tranny fluid already but if not check that and if it's low it could cause it to slip! If there's too much, it might have a harder time trying to shift. When is the last time you flushed the tranny?

About the raddling you got me there! It could very possibly be your ABS or even something as simple as the exshaust tapping against somthing. Reason being you say it only happens in gear when your stopped/idleing!
