Default cranks won't run

Have read severl articles about this problem. Checked fuel pressure at schraider valve with key on, engine not running. 45psi initially and 38psi at 10 minutes..Normal or abnormal? Where do I go from here? Initially (before finding you guys) I changed the ignition switch. Didn't have problem for about 2 wks. Turns over and is about to crank. When release key to "run" cycle, it doesnt run. New batery.

Your pressure is way to low! sounds like a bad fuel pump to me. You should also have this moved to the appropriate section by one of the mods.

Thanks Rex. I'm new here. Where should it be and how do I get Moderator to change it? Had a 91 fuel pump go out and had to drop rear end to drop tank. Same on 02???

Shouldn't have to drop the rear end, didn't have to on my '01. Do you have MPFI or whatever the throttle-body injection is? (I can't remember if they switched mid-02 or in 03)

It's a throtle-body. Finished the R&R of the fuel pump. What's with those clips on the fuel pump connectors?? Figued them out, but geez! Truck runs like a top. Starts like it is supposed to. Thanks to all who replied and those that posted previously about this problem. Will be checking back soon.
