I have a 01 Blazer,104,000 miles. My mechanic said that I need to replace my whole injector assembly when only the #5 port isnt working. Any advice because these spider injectors are expensive!

step66 is an unknown quantity at this point

Unfortunately,this is correct.In the future always utilize a fuel system additive such as Marvel oil-it will allieviate most of these issues if used regulary.
