Am I Crazy for towing my Blazer?
This is more of a rant than a question.
My Blazer is leaking coolant from the lower tranny cooler line and i had mixed two coolant types after it was leaking and before i discovered the leak location. I don't have a lot of time this month to fix it myself so I had it towed to the shop instead of driving it there, risking the life of my tranny and having the coolant mix go any further. Everybody thinks this was a waste of money, my roomates, my boss, even the shop guys.I dunno who is ignorant here, them or me.

you probably would've been fine, but ya know what? It's your blazer... you're the one that has to pay the bills, so if it makes you more comfortable, then it's the right thing to do. Forget about everyone else.
How can someone judge what they didn't see themselves?
It's your truck and your decision that matters. Sometimes a small leak can turn into a very big leak in a hurry. Maybe you actually saved money by having it towed.
