Default custom air box how to

I got a cool air intake from my cousin off his s-10 but it has no air box (and i just took out the stock air box plastic mount thing so it opened up for more air to go in) so is there one i can buy or make, what would the best thing to do...
and i want to get some thermal wrap to wrap the intake pipe, and recommendations?

Well the whole idea of the new intake is to remove the air box. The way you prevent heat from the engine to get into the air ( making the cold air intake not so cold) is with a heat shield. There's a how to on here somewhere (search button).

nope that's the thread....forgot about the forum issues. The forum was hacked a short while back, and a post limit was enacted...which killed a bunch of the DIY articles. TBB should have the how to backed up on his system.
