Default CV Axle Assembly Replacement

If anyone has read a posting about being able to pull the CV Axle Assembly throught the spindle by removing the wheel bearing....IT DOES NOT FIT.

I replaced the driver's side CV Axle Assembly and also found the lower ball joint pretty shot. I could not get the lower ball joint to separate, so I removed the ball joint bolts and took the spindle off and then I was able to get the ball joint out.

When I had everything apart I thought I would try the CV Axle Assembly through the spindle...with bearing removed...NOPE....IT DOES NOT FIT.

Just passing along information.

Oh and getting the CV Axle Assembly out and back in.....is a chore!!!
