Default Digital Odometer

There was a wonderful thread within this forum on the subject of repairing the digital odometer and gear select indicator about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Lots of pictures and soldering illustrations. Basically the ground leads tend to be 'cold soldered'. Search and you should find it easily.

Edit; here's the thread

Default Repair

Get a 15 or 30 watt soldering iron from Radio Shack and just barely re-melt the solder joint. If it doesn't make a smooth fillet, scrape the corroded board surface with the point of a straight pin and reheat again.
Hope this helps
PS did you notice that I edited my original post and added the link to the repair pictures?
