I have a 99 s10 Blazer that the headlights wont shut off after turning it off, I have replaced the multifunction switch and the headlight relay but they still wont turn off so I have been having to take the headlight relay out every time I go somewhere for a long period of time to prevent my battery from dying, if anyone has had this problem or knows what is wrong with it the help would be much appreciated

under the hood is a fuse box (open it) find the diagram on the back of the lid and locate the DRL relay ( i think its the only black one) and pull it out.. (it sounds as if it is stuck on) leave it out untill you buy a new one .. unless you do not like daytimers.. but there is a different mod for that involving bending a pin over on the relay ( without the relay in you will have only one high beam )

I also replaced the DRL relay a couple days ago and it didn't fix it and now the headlights stay off all the time unless I push the break in and hold it also when I turn the left turn signal on it flashes the headlight with the turn signal
