Easier to keep track of what I have come across here than the other thread since I have moved on from the EGR

Need some help reading these. I have the Torque app for my phone. The issue I've had since I got it about a week ago is driving me up the wall.

Since I got it, it has had a light miss/rough idle, its worse in gear though. The RPM gauge stays perfectly still though. Idle is around 660 in either gear or park (cant remember off hand)

When I take off from a stop it misses but still has a good amount of power. Then about 1700+ RPM it smooths out and its fine after that whether it be cruising or WOT. It also starts perfectly fine.

I first checked the EGR and it all turned out fine up to the power wire labeled "E" on this site. not getting 12v. I jumped 12v to it and it idled extremely rough so I left it and moved on for now.

Unplugged the MAF while it was running and it hesitated for a second then ran the exact same (didnt take it for a drive with it unplugged though)

I scanned it a few days back at Autozone before I got my scanner and it had P0171 (System to lean Bank 1) However it smells like its running rich.

I replaced the plugs, wires, cap, rotor and PCV and it smoothed out a little bit while idling in gear. It doesn't really chug anymore.

Vacuum sits at about 17 in park and 15 in gear. It is steady however.

I got my scanner today and collected the information below. (Not sure of an easier way to share logs with the torque app)

I scanned for codes today and got the P0171 again but I also got P1345 (Timing/cam sensor related)

So I'm stumped as of right now...

Pics are all at idle

The next 2, where the big jump is, I floored the truck to get an idea

Right after the last one

Found this one interesting since I got a lean code for Bank 1.

The big spike/dip here was me revving the motor quickly

I am also getting pretty bad gas mileage, if I had to guess, I'd say somewhere close to 10-11

I just did another trip log and it seems to run better in closed loop. The Fuel trim short term was about 17% and the long term about 25%. Bank 1 Sensor 1 fuel trim was between 12% and 18% Pulled in my driveway and it seems to be running a lot smoother. Still had a little roughness but bad front shocks and motor mounts could be a factor in that. O2 sensor seemed to be staying in the correct range too.

Beginning to think its not the O2's. Going to try harder to find a vac leak tomorrow even though my vac is steady at 17. Going to try the unlit propane trick.

2 Screenshots from cruising at around 25 MPH. This was at the end of my 20 minute drive.

yes your right the long term fuel trim looks very high, aswell as the short terms. The compueter is requesting alot of fuel it looks like and not getting it. things to check/clean. definitley clean your mass airflow sensor with MAF cleaner. second definitley look for a vacume leak, also check your fuel pressure at the fuel rail with a guage. it should be 60-66psi koeo.

Forgot to update it here. Post from a K5 site I'm on. It's still somewhat high on bank 1 but I'm hoping new intake gaskets and MFI help with that.

Popped the spider out and looking at the ends where the poppets are, #5 was dirty looking so i sprayed the hoses/clips/poppets with carb cleaner (cleaner to handle)

Couldn't get the poppets out. Tried heat gun and boiling water. So I cleaned the hell out of them from the outside. I did break 2 clips but they don't move when pressurized. Only need it to be temp until I get the upgraded one.

But in good news, when I was checking for leaks after putting the spider back in just now, I didn't see any again. When I pulled the fuel lines off the spider though, I got sprayed with gas which means its holding pressure now at least. Before it wouldn't even trickle out of the spider when I removed the lines or dribble at the schrader valve, but this time it sprayed good.

Now working on getting it put back together. Those lines that you disconnect by the dizzy/firewall are a PITA to get back together.

Next plan if it still doesn't run right/miss I plan on removing the dizzy and checking the gear. Found this link for a new dizzy for $43 on another thread.

Put everything back together, fired her up, ran like a baby. Took it for a drive, has way more power now.

Fuel trims and o2 readings are good now too.

This summer I am going to buy a new dizzy and the MFI system though, since this probably wont last forever. Possibly a Wait4Me computer too.
