Distributor Timing

Why don't you pull the module out of the distributor, take it to an auto parts store and have it checked? It's free and a pretty easy job.

dist timing
No the coil is not firing, and the coil is also new and so is the ign module that mounts at the end of the coil. Thanks guys, keep coming up with answers and we will finally figure this thing out.

Couple of quick questioms. Looking at a wiring diagram for a 95 (Chilton's - not the best). Sounds like you have it timed right. I understand you have a new coil and ignition module.
Do you have a PCM or a VCM-A?
You have checked the fuse (ECM 1 - 20amp) Just asking.
Are you getting volts at the primary side of the coil?
Do you have a good ground at the coil?
Sure sounds like your problem is in the primary side of the coil or upstream if you have a good coil that's grounded real good. Just because stuff is new dersn't mean it's OK.

2001 Chevy Blazer Timing Issue
Well its not what the book says it is. I tryed pointing the rotor at #6 on the dist. Not it I tryed pointing it at # 1 spark plug (witch is the #6 on dist) finaly i started pointing it where it would go and Tada>>>>> It was pointing at 7:00 like 7:00 pm on a clock. I cant explain why. possibly timing chain problem. plugged in ODB code reader and P0300 random misfire on all cyl. not shure what to do.
