I have searched and got confused 2000 blazer 4door 4wd. The door switch that controls the interior lights I’ve search and it shows the plunger style on side of dash and then one inside door on door latch. Is it possible to have both just want to have all the parts before starting on it. Just bought it have to use override switch for the lights and as soon as I turn off ignition the radio goes off and buzzer sounds before opening the door thx in advance

 

I'm pretty sure that the overhead dome light and the retained-accessory-power system are both triggered off by the switch in the door latch, not the plunger one on the side of the dash. Are you certain which door it is that has failed? The driver's door is most likely, however the same switch exists on the passenger front door as well. You may want to try and test to find out which door switch has failed to be sure.

There was a thread recently by someone with the same problem where they listed some of the troubleshooting steps they took and the process for replacing the door switch.
