Default Door lock and windshield washer

I have two problems with my car right now....one is my drivers side door will not automatically lock but it will unlock. When I try to lock it the lock goes down about 1/4 of an inch then i have to manually lock it. Can anybody tell me what could be wrong and how I could fix it.

Also my front windshield washers are not working. When I use my rear one I hear the motor run but hear nothing when I try to use the front ones. I'm think it is the windshield washer pump and can anybody tell me the steps to replace this.

Thanks

Quick update I was just outside working on the lock and it seems like what it is doing is it will try to lock it but then it quickly unlocks it because I hear another click or two once I try to lock it??

have you checked the front washer pump to verify that it's working? try switching the hoses between the front and rear (at the washer bottle) and "spray" the rear window, it should shoot out the front nozzles-if so, replace front washer pump. if this doesn't happen, then there may be something stuck in the nozzle itself, or, in the line some place. if this is the case, try blowing down the washer fluid tubes, from the nozzle side, to blow any blockages back out the tube. *remove the tube from the "Y" fitting so that nothing goes back into the tank* this will also reduce the amount of "pressure" required to push through the system.
as for the power lock issue, have you taken the door panel off to see if there is anything binding the rods, latch or handle from moving? this might cause the solinoid from pulling properly.

This sounds like the same thing that happens if you try to lock the doors with the key in ignition, all the doors lock, drivers door locks then unlocks. Maybe the computer
is seeing key in ignition for some reason.

Relay is under driver side dash. I would check for a broken wire behind the rubber boot between the door and body first.
