Door panel keeps coming loose
2001 Blazer:
When I got my Blazer last year the driver side door panel seemed to keep coming loose from. Probably from when the dealer replaced the window motor and didn't put the panel back on the correct way. Last week I replaced the door panel clips correctly. But that only lasted about a week before it came loose again. Everytime I go over a bump it starts to make a loose rattling sound and it gets annoying. There's a donor Blazer in my town that I could get a new panel off of but I don't see how this would fix the problem seeing as I would have to remove that panel and fasten it back onto my door with the same cheesy plastic clips. Any advice?

yep, and those two screws are common to break in the plastic, so then as you pull on the door panel to close the door, the panel is being pulled from the door itself, double check the two screws under the arm rest of the door panel, i had to make some plastic washers that fit inside the hole
but was large enough to catch some of the existing door panel to hold it tight, in thinking about some sort of epoxy/fiberglass cloth re-inforcement
to make it stronger
