Okay, on my 2001 4 door Jimmy, the previous owner broke the "handle bolt holes" out, being as he was an idiot, and couldn't figure out HOW to remove the skin, so he just ripped it off.
Well dammit, I've tried everything to fix this....putting big washers up in there(which works for a little while), JB Weld, etc..... I give up. I'm ready to go shopping for a another skin!

So, what I need to know is: what year did they change from the handle bolts going DOWN through the handle(as my 95 had), to the hidden handle bolts, that run up through the side? I see tons of parts on Craigslist, but most of the Blazer/Jimmys are older, so I really need to know which years are my target years. Thanks!

PS- Yes, I've got the skin from my 1998 partsmobile, but it's gray, and I need the charcoal.

PSPS- I'm assuming that a Blazer skin is identical to a Jimmy skin....true? I'd hate to drive 50 miles for one, only to find that it's not the same!

 

If I'm not mistaken 98 and up through to 2005 should all be the same. They changed styles in 98. I might be mistaken though, so don't hold me to it lol.
