Default Doors and hatch will not open.

I have a 2000 Blazer. The switch on the inside of the door will not unlock the doors but the remote will open them. The hatch however will not open with the remote, the inside switch or the remote switch. Does anyone know what is wrong and how to fix it. I need help bad. Thanks.

Default RE: Doors and hatch will not open.

Sounds like an issue with your Electronic Lock Control Module, check with your local dealership as to the location in your specific vehicle, as it varies year to year. The ELCM is a module that recieves transmitted signal from your remote and switches, and controls the actuators located throughout the vehicle. Though I have not personally tinkered with the ELCM in my Blazers, I do know that some vehicles (though I cannot name which) are controlled directly through the primary CM, or simply, computer. I highly doubt this is the case with your vehicle, however, as you would start experiencing several issues not seemingly related to eachother and multiple dummy lights.

Hope it helps
