Thank you LannyL81 for all your advice. So I loosen the motor and was able to pull the window up. I taped it and now I just have to wait to buy the whole assembly. I checked the motor and it turns on so I'm guessing it must be the other part that attached to the window that's not working. But of course I have to wait to have the money to buy it. But again thanks. I will post an update when I finally buy the whole assembly and put it in. One question now my driver side rear window won't go up or down either that's that mean I have to buy and replace the whole assembly too for that window.

Although not impossible for two windows to break at the same time, not very likely unless the back window is moved as often as the driver's.

I suggest looking into each window further to find-out what has failed before ordering parts. Need to verify that power is getting through the master switches to the door switches first. A bad motor will still be able to be rotated unless bearings have seized. Need to get a simple voltmeter to check for voltage at the motor connectors. Once that is known, go from there.

Just bring it over and we can work on it.

Takes about 30 minues to clean everything. Re-install and check the operation.
Every few months my (2 door) driver side window freezes. Right now it's stuck up, up there pretty solid.
I'll give your cleaning a try. Before I do, can I get a description or pic of switch contacts, unless it will be obvious when I pull the switch. Lanny or anyone?
Or, there is a china switch for $25

Not sure which way, cleaning or buying, has the best chance of avoiding having to take the door apart again.
