Before I go tearing the door apart, can anyone tell me how to adjust the power window glass in the drivers door? (mine is RHD) When I close the window it works OK but for the last 6 inches or so it shudders as it closes, almost like it's binding on something. I have cleaned out the channels that the glass runs in & even tried some silicone spray in them to try & lubricate things but it has made no difference. If I put slight pressure on the top of the glass as it closes it runs smoothly.
Upon examining the window more closely, it appears that the drivers side glass is slightly crooked in the frame compared to the passenger side. All other windows open & close smoothly.
Any advice would be appreciated as i'm concerned that it might be putting too much strain on the motor & mechanism.
