Default Eating thru lower ball joints

My 98 is just eating thru front lower ball joints, I've had them replaced under warranty for the last 3 years. Every time my mechanic finds out they're bad his go to response is "Are you hitting a lot of pot holes??" I'm not hitting them on purpose but hey I live in Pa, we have a lot here.

My question is, along with replacing them and getting an alignment again, is there anything else that I can do to prevent them from going bad? I believe it is specifically the front driver side that is the culprit mostly. After the second time in two years, he put on better parts (at an addtional cost to me) but they are still covered under the after market warranty I have. Is there another part I should be concerned with that may contribute to them going bad??

Thanks

Have you been lubing them about every 3000 miles? Have you cranked the tbars? Stock rims?

Give us a little more info on what you've got and we might be able to help.
