Default EGR location help

Hey guys im new here , I have a 95 2wd , auto 4 door with the 4.3 in it . Iv'e read alot on here and realized i need to clean my EGR valve. My symptons include wanting to die at low rpms when giving it gas , it idles fine. It also will throw the CEL about once a month and idle horrible and then magically go away on its own. Ive replaced plugs/wires/cap/rotor and it still does this . My question is where is the EGR valve , i have the haynes manual and still cant find it !! Thanks in advance

hey man,

I have the same year car and i know what you mean it is kinda hard to find. Its been a while since i replaced mine. I beleive the egr valve is on the very front of the engine. Its behind the pully that adds tension to the belt. Look down there and you will see it. hope this helps.

Ok ill look there. The haynes manual says its on the back of the cylinder head under the head cowl . But it also doesnt specify year. Ill take a look where you said though thanks !.
