Elecric grounds on V6 4d 1997
Hi all, It's Seppo from Sweden. Been reading up tons on Blazer at the forum but haven't found anything about electricity like mine have. Has to be a grounding issue, why? as long as the ABS light is out everything works nice and smooth. Once the Light lit up... power windows wont work, fan wont work, cruise control wont work either.
I'm new to both the forum and Blazer, still haven't got the Haynes. bought it last week.
Have to get the ground issue solved to that I can drive again since the driver window is down
regards

Welcome to the forum. In addition to Les:
The ground for the front power windows is G117 at the rear of the right cylinder head on your truck. If it doesn’t turn out to be this simple we can go deeper into the wiring.

update sofar
Wiggeling the cables made fan come back alive, only to lit abs back up again in the first bump. Cabling seemed ok, measured and wiggeled. ground was also ok (G117). Took out the spare startkey it started to work in a more ok manour. What turned out to be the bad guy is two fold issue, key and battery negative (replaced) the old connector had an internal fault. Right now I have ordered a new igniton switch to the car.
