Default Encoder question

1999 Blazer
Have vacuum to the switch on the transfer case. Cable on the actuator is able to move freely. Vacuum line to actuator and the acutator is good. TCCM is clicking. Problem is no vacuum to actuator. No sound from encoder motor. My question is are there 7 or 8 pins on the encoder motor connection? The upper set only has 3 pins.
