engine smokes
Hi, I had a problem with misfire in my engine but we fixed this last week. Since then we recognized that there is white smoke everytime I switch off the engine.
The smoke appears behind the AC compressor and I have no idea what that might be. It smells a little bit like cooling liquid but I couldn't find a leak.
Could it be the AC itself which is leaking. Another problem which might go together with that, it's not heating anymore!!
Please give me some new ideas, I'm desperate.
Thanks
Matt

Heater core is taking a puke on you ..... you will have to remove the plastic from around the A/C and dissassemble the dash enough to get it out....also check coolant level in overflow and radiator when cool or cold...don't do this when hot or you could require plastic surgery for a new face....
Which A/C are you tlaking about? Unde rthe hood or in the dash?
Yes, they are related. No heat becuase your low on anti-freeze. Check yourradiaotr and overflow tank for fluid. If this is behind the A/C unit under the hood. check your water pump and hoses for leaks. Look for a white or brownresidue.
