Default Engine swap gone bad.

Hey there everyone. I recently purchased a 99 four door blazer with a blown motor. I have the new one in but I guess I'm not as good as I thought. Lol I think I have missed a ground or something. The dash lights up as well as the gear indicator with the first click of the key but any further and the gear indicator goes blank and no starter. The check engine light stays on tho. I have stared at it for days looking for a missed plug so now am hoping someone here can help me out. Thanks

Did you ever try to start it with the blown engine? did it start correctly then? Id check the IGN C fuse and any other fuses you see that may be related to the ignition switch in the under the hood fuse block. Other then that retrace your steps and try to find any disconnected grounds as you mentioned. Main chassis ground on block, Grounds on back of cyl heads / firewall... I tried to get you a wiring diagram but my alldata subscription is expired. good luck

Thank you. I did start and hear it run before, but it was very hard to start and now after sitting a while the starter won't work when I try to jump it with a screwdriver. I'll put up pics once I figure out how. Lol it has 24 inches of lift and 40 inch boggers, I'm really lookin forward to playin.
