Default engine takes a deep breathe ??

well, i have noticed that every time i start my jimmy, only as soon as i start it, and i press the gas pedal kinda fast and hard, it kinda stops/slows down very bad, it doesn't respond at all,to the point that i always almost get hit by the traffic comming (ex. in a intersection), but after a few minutes of running it gets normal and responds as i think it should always, but like i said before it only does it after i star it, it does not matter a long it has been parked/off, is this normal ??

You should have it scanned for codes. It could be a sensor gone bad and after a minute or so the computer compensates for the failure.

If there's no codes, start with the simple and cheap things... Air filter, fuel filter...
