I really don't mind if I have the a/c or not, even in the summer, hardly use it at all, as temps are mid twenties (Celsius) here in summer.

I read a post that some guy bypassed with a belt (83.5"), but that was all that was said, never stated if he had problems after or not. Curious as to if this would work because atm, I don't have the cash to fully repair until I get back to work next month.

Thanks again

There's a belt listed for 2004 without A/C...not sure it it will fit or not.

That is correct. My a/c pulley is on the right above my p/s pulley. I can see straight from the a/c pulley to the p/s pulley...it is aligned.

Only way to be sure is to measure the travel distance of the belt, and if that path will be the same as a similar engine with no a/c, if I want to get a belt that will fit correctly.

I guess the main question is now, if I do find a suitable belt that fits (bypassing the a/c unit), will it be okay to do so or will it cause more problems?

Thanks, yet again people. This is greatly appreciated!!!

The clutch bearing replacement *IS* the cheap option. Doesn't require the system to be opened up, just a bearing replacement.

Ditto.

The thing is it requires special tools {may rent from Autozone 'free} to remove and may be a little more difficult given the bearing spun.

But I would definitely check out the option. It's what I would do and I have all the AC service tools.

And that belt for 'w/o' is meant for the factory ac delete pulley.
