Default factory microphone and/or speaker?

my truck (2000 blazer) has the factory sunroof and short overhead console with trip computer. Between it and the visor (on the drivers side) is a small black plastic thing that looks like a mini-hood scoop.. I assume this is a microphone for the onstar or is it aftermarket for a cel or something? Any idea where it plugs in if factory? I'd like to use it later on for a bluetooth capable head unit.

Also - there's a small round speaker (I assume?) on the driver side headliner. It's about 1.5" round. I just noticed it today.. what is it? where does it connect? Is it a speaker, or another mic? I swear I hear a 'buzz' coming from it.

My truck did come with onstar, if that matters. I plan on removing it from the rear cargo area, but will have to leave the mirror because it's also auto-dim (which I really dont like...)

If I'm not mistaken the one on the drivers side is a temperature sensor for the auto climate controls.

A few pictures would be really helpful, then we could better see what it is you are asking about.

Thanks, that would make sense (temp control). I cant find a pic online, but I'll get one of mine tomorrow.

On the passenger side headliner, there's a grab handle. About the same location on the drivers side, is where this round "thing" is. It looks like a tweeter speaker grill to be honest, but I can see where it would be a good place for a climate control.

Thank you, m0perale. Yes, that's it. The only difference is mine is at the head of the OHC near the windshield. But that's the same one.
