Default Head Unit microphone

Hello everyone,

I have this Kenwood KDC-BT848U Head unit and it came with a microphone for bluetooth, anyways I am installing this stereo tomorrow and I am not too sure where the best place to mount it would be, any input would be helpful.

Thanks in advance,

Ian

Most people say the sun visor, but I ran mine to the top of the dash, just behind the steering wheel. A friend has one run to the side of the overhead console, but my cord wasn't long enough. I have thought about the top of the A piller. On the factory units for Tahoes, they are built into the ceiling, about 2 inches back of the sun visor.

thanks, I am planning on running it up the pillar on the driver's door, if the wire isn't long enough though i will probably run it in front of the speedometer
