Default Fan blower motor

Hi everyone,
I have a 99 Blazer 4.3 with A/C and in the last couple of weeks the fan motor has been making a "squawking" sound when it's turned on.The sound kind of comes and goes.Turning it off and then back on will sometimes make it stop, but not always.I was wondering how hard it was to replace the fan motor and if there were any tips on how to do it.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,Spiderman

it will be under the hood on the passenger side by the firewall there will be like 5 hex head screws holding it on. the biggest headache is the bottom bolt is really hard to get at. may need really small hands or the proper way is to remove the wheelwell but thats not always possible due to rusty bolts.

but other then that stupid screw its pretty easy.

Might be on that one that you have to cut the black plastic housing before you can even see the bolts. Usually it's molded into the housing "cut here for service". Use a utility knife and be careful, the piece you cut out needs to be put back on. Probably have to remove the PCM and coolant reservoir to get the motor out. As mentioned, a couple of the bolts are "neatly tucked out of the way"

Seal it back on with a bead of black RTV.

RTV is a sealant that comes in a tube, smells like bathtub caulk most auto parts stores have it. Search you tube, might be video on how to replace the blower.
