Default fast left AND right blinkers

Firstly wanted to thank the forums, I've gotten info about A/C and front end rebuilds, which I'm in the progress of doing...

OK, so, on to the current problem...

I have a '98 Blazer...

I have fast blinkers, left AND right.

The hazards don't blink fast, only the turn signals.

I don't have any dead turn signal bulbs (just have one in front and one in back on each side right?)

I have replaced the flasher relay behind the glovebox with a new one... the blink rate is same (very fast).

Thanks for any responses!!

Check your headlights, taillights, brake lights, etc.

I don't remember exactly which cause the fast blinking, but I'm pretty sure that there were at least 2 bulbs in the rear that could cause it. You might have to open up the taillights, since if both L & R are causing a problem, you might not be able to see the difference just by turning your TS on and watching.

There's like an upper and lower bulb in the back. Check em all!

If you front turn single lights flash, then both tail lights have a burnt out bulb. Remove your taillights and see which bulb isnt blinking. Normally when you have a fast flasher it's a indication that you have a burnt out bulb.

You guys nailed it... the lower bulb on each taillight were both out... you couldn't tell it from looking at the bulb either, but I went ahead and replaced all four, and that took care of it.

Thanks again everyone!!
