Flat, Weak Brakes...All of the sudden!

Flat, Weak Brakes...All of the sudden!
Hey All,
Just got over to a buddys, on the drive over while rolling to a stop sign, my brakes went "almost flat", and it felt like my stopping power went out the window, brake light came on too. We have fresh snow, but this felt different...really weak brakes. Noticed a grey thin liquid on the front passenger side. Its dripping a little, but I didnt see a leak when pumping the pedal...checked the reservoir and it is half full, left empty, right full...Im a novice so any info is appreciated...Did I blow a brake line somewhere??? If this factors in @ all, I was in 4hi...
