Default Followup question to MAF cleaning...

Is the MAF assembly able to be disassembled to clean or do you just use the spray can on it as is? Any proper way to disassemble it if it can be? I plan on taking care of this today but don't want to get into it until I know that I am going to do it correctly... So any hints and help please.
I want to avoid doing this wrong...

I used the QD(Quick Dry) Electronic Cleaner. And if you need to get all the oil off the wires you will have to dissassmeble the sensor the part that is critical is the black plastic with the wires...like I said in the other post use the plastic extender to get a more focused stream to the area and it should do the trick but you may need to use the cotton swabs if they don't clean up easy...just remember just lightly brush them, they are thin and will break with to much pressure...and MAF's are not cheap when new... But I purchased mine at Schucks,Kragen, Advance Auto parts it was cheaper...than the napa version...

Also if you need to dissassemble the MAF you will need an Allen head wrench I think it is 8mm??? don't quote me but that would be close...since these GM cars use both standard and metric fasteners I get confused a lot....

Yup, on the disassembly, just remove the 4 socket headed cap screws.
