i have a 98 blazer and latley it has developed this strange hum in the front end.i'm pretty sure it is comming from the drivers side.i can start to hear it around 35mph and it gets louder the faster i go.the only thing i can equate the sound to is the sound that a set of knobby mud tires going down the road.i recently had the lower ball joints and wheel bearings done.the noise started prob a month or 2 after that but i dont drive the truck alot so i don't know if one has anything to do with the other.but i never did get an alingment after i had it done.not sure if thats why it's doing it?the truck doesnt handle any different than it ever has and does not effect the drivability at all.so.........ant ideas?????

Might be the new stuff. The Front Hub Nut should be tightened to a hair over 100ftlbs ( book says 103ftlbs). If your mechanic just put the Impact gun to it, he may have overtightened it. That will stress the bearing.
