Default Front sway bar bracket

2003 Blazer ZR2 4WD Auto 173k miles

So I'm struggling through the process of mitigating a lot of salt rot under my 2003 ZR2. One big problem is how to deal with a broken front sway bar mounting bracket that is permanently affixed to the frame. As you can see, it's completely disintegrated. And yes, I'm already in the process of needling off all that scale and resealing the frame. But other than cutting one off a donor frame and welding it on, is anyone aware of any possible aftermarket brackets? I've seen some for C-10s and other models, but is anyone aware of any for S10s?

I'm not aware of any aftermarket brackets, but I see that you have two options.

1) Leave the sway bar off. I had mine off for a couple of years and never noticed a difference in handling.
2) Fabricate a new bracket, either yourself or have a shop make one. My concern is the amount of rust on the frame. The frame is fairly thin to begin with, after getting down to clean metal there may not be enough to weld a new bracket on.
