Default RE: front wheel bearing

Basically, you will need a jack, jack stands, your lug wrench to remove the tire, a 36mm deep socket for removing the driveshaft nut, and I think it is 18mm bolts that hold the bearing to the steering knuckle. All tools are readily available from your local parts store (autozone, advanced auto, etc). The problem that you will run into is that the driveshaft retaining nut is interference fit meaning that it will fight you all the way off. The easiest way to remove it is with an air impact wrench, but if one is not available, it can be done by hand, but be prepared to be tired as all hell when you get it off. From there, the easiest way to get the driveshaft out of the wheelbearing is with a puller (which you should be able to rent/borrow from the aforementioned parts stores).

All in all, it can be done in your driveway, but it'll be aweful tiring!
