fuel gauge reads more than full
i guys i just bought an oldsmobile ravada 97 wth the 4.3 engine. Im havingthis problem with my gauge always reading more than full tank, i tried disconecting the fuel sender unit to check if it was the floater thing but evend do i disconnected everything even the fuel pump the gauge goes up. Im erally lost here so any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks
i already replaced the istrument panel and it does the same thing. how do i check for a bad wire.. do it do it just phisically or check resistance??? where is the ecm or pcm that you mentioned
so i found some more symptoms... if you turn off the car the needle goes to like 1/4 of gauge but *** soon as you start the car the needle goes up.
