Default Fuel Line Seals

First, thanks to Captain Hook for the distributor diagrams, they have exactly what I wanted. Second, I'm taking the distributor and fuel lines off today before pulling the lower intake for LIM gasket replacement on a 1996 4.3L blazer. The diagrams I have show o-rings and/or flexible washers where the fuel lines connect. Do these need to be replaced whenever they are disassembled? One set is at the rear of the engine (by the firewall) and the other set is on top of the upper plenum.

check your intake kit if you already have it. alot of times they will come with all the o-rings and everything you need. if not you can just buy a o-ring kit at a parts store or reuse them if they are not damaged but thats always risky

^^^ I agree. Here's the LIM gasket set, it does come with the O rings for the lines at the rear: Buy Felpro Intake Manifold Gasket Set MS 98002 T at Advance Auto Parts

This kit has all of the O rings for the injector housing, always a good idea to replace them as well: Buy Dorman - Help Fuel Injector O-Ring Seal Kit - GM 2005-96 90000 at Advance Auto Parts

You'll probably only need the ones for the lines. They are special O rings and washers. Watch how it all comes apart and reassemble it the same way, with the new parts. Make sure you lube the fuel lines with motor oil before reinstalling them back into the housing.
