Default Fuel Lines Stripped?

when we pulled the old engine the last thing we removed... because we forgot... was the fuel lines, so we stretched them out a little bit,

not putting the new engine in, I got the small fuel line in, but the big one will NOT screw in, the line itself is really hard to bend in place and is still pulling back while I try to put it in to screw it in

any tips? did I strip it?

if the lines themselves are stripped how can I fix them, without having to replace the whole things..

loosen the fuel lines that go in the plenum so the front can be lifted up to line up the back so you can screw them in then push lines back in plenum put bolts back and dont forget new o rings where they screw together

What are you working on?? Vehicle details are kind of important.

Stretched lines rarely go back to where they were supposed to.

That is going to be fun, getting those lines back on there. It would be easier if you were to remove the upper plenum, which would give you a better view on for the lines. Worst case scenario, the female connections are stripped and you have to replace the "nut kit".

which lines are female?
the ones on the intake?
and I have a spare intake I can swap in,
I think the fuel lines would be harder to replace, I dont know how far back they go, all the way to fuel tank?

The female portion is part of the 'nut kit' aka internal fuel lines inside the plenum. If you have another used set of these, you might as well toss it in the garbage as they do not like to stay sealed up after they have been taken apart.
