have you tried any of the suggested tests?? you may just have a bad fuse like kyle (swartlkk) said and there may be no reason to drop the tank, also test the psi (this can be done at home) that way youll know for sure if you have to drop the tank or not. i always though you had to drop the tank regardless if its 4dr or 2dr unless ur friend has cut some sort of hole in the cargo area. if you do end up replacing the pump go with ac-delco and change out the fuel filter while ur down there.
