yes and it is like a medicine bottle push down and twist i changed mine with it still in the truck just loosened the straps a bit

FYI Unfortunately Chevy felt they should really screw people over and put two types of plastic tanks with two types of valves on this vehicle. One you can replace valve the other you can't. Mine you can't so I have to replace the tank. I was able to find one here for $75 and will pickup tomorrow. Sorry DB but I would like to get this resolved before Friday as a big storm is headed here. With any luck I will be back on the road tomorrow night.
