Hey folks,
I dropped the tank on my 98 Blazer LT, 4dr, 4x4 today to change the pump/sending unit and epoxy a cracked hose nipple on the front vent/rollover valve (plastic tank). After I got the unit out of the tank I found this cylindrical part rolling around in the bottom of the tank (see attached images). It rattles when shaken, so possibly a float/check/vent device. The thing is, I have no idea where it's from, what it should be attached too, or how it got there. Possible previous owner/repair shenanigans a high possibility!
Any ideas?
