Default Fuel tank/sending unit swap??/

I want to get rid of this pos crap plastic garbage sending unit. I was thinking on a early 90's tank and sending unit with like a walborow pump.
Anyone do anything like this?

98 Blazer 2dr.

The early '90s were the days of TBI, meaning only two injectors located in the throttle body. You have 6 injectors, or poppets. That early '90s fuel pump will not put out enough pressure to even start your vehicle.

What kind of problems are you having with it? Fuel pump modules are no different than anything else, you get what you pay for. I agree, aftermarket modules are junk, but they're cheap! Look at the bright side, you get a brand new pump every few months!

Thats why I would go with a high output pump designed for my truck.

I think ill pick one up and try it.

AC Delco or Delphi are the best pumps you can get for these vehicles, and no modifications are necessary. Drop 'em in and they're good for 100K miles.
