Default Fuse block question

The under hood fuse block in my 1999 blazer was bad. Went to a salvage yard and just snagged one off a different blazer. After replacing mine with the other one, it will not start and the security light stays on. Do the part numbers for the fuse blocks have to match up exactly and if so is that what could be causing the security light-no start issue? Thanks!

The replacement fuse block needs to be the same as you removed. I'd be surprised if there is more than one possibility for 1999. What year was the donor vehicle?

Thanks. Thats why i was confused. I was under the assumption that it came out of another 1999, therefore i was hoping they would all be the same.
