Mine bounces around once I go under 1/2 a tank. My fuel pump is only 2 years old as well and it's always been doing it before I swapped out the pump.

TONS of problems as a quick search would indicate. You can change just the sending unit, but you have to do the same steps as if you were replacing the fuel pump.

As I have suggested in many past threads, the first thing to try is a double dose of the 20gallon Chevron Techron Fuel System Treatment Plus in your next tank of fuel. It has a filming agent that is supposed to clean and protect the fuel level sending unit.

Default Gas Gauge problems

i have a 2005 Trailblazer and the gauge is now stuck on empty and the low fuel light stay's on. Do you think this will work for that also.

Same applies, but I would look over all of the wiring first to make sure that something isn't disconnected first. If you want to diagnose further, please create your own thread in the GMT360/370 section so as not to pull this thread off the original poster's problem.
