gas guage

Default gas guage

today my gas gauge stopped working, it was functioning this morning but when i started my blazer after work the gauge didn't move at all, i know i have at least half a tank left. Any one have any suggestions?

Sending unit perhaps or the gauge died

How old is your truck? What is it?

Some models are notorious for fuel pump/sending unit failure.

you can do as i do- mine stopped as well - top off tank, reset trip meter, refill between 150 - 200 miles, repeat.

Yep, my sending unit died too at about 90k miles. I did the ol trip meter reset between gas fillups for about a year. I finally replaced the entire fuel pump/sending unit about a month ago.
