2001 ZR2, when i start it,, guage sets on E with the light on,, after a few taking of,, it will slowly works its way up??
any ideas?

 

Sending unit is going bad. I have heard a double dose of techron concentrate can help, I have had no luck with it though.

 

Mine does that as well when it gets under 1/4 tank. If I put it in neutral it'll jump up to the level most've the time. I read that our vehicles read an average level while in gear & an actual level when in park or neutral. I also have a high voltage code on the fuel level sensor so when it goes I'll change it. Till then it doesn't affect anything other than the level readings.
