Gas guage broken

My blazer was doing the same thing as some other members. The fuel gauge would work until the half the fuel was used. After that the gauge did what it wanted to. The pump finally went one day and when it was replaced the fuel gauge worked again.
I'm pretty sure that it's all one assembly, the pump and the sending unit. Not 100% sure though.
